Plans have been submitted to Redbridge Council by TfL, Vistry and Peabody for a 98 home, 100 per cent affordable residential development at a former builders’ yard at Barkingside. 

In Summer 2022 Concilio undertook a number of consultation events to inform the community and stakeholders about the proposals. This included: 

• A meeting with Wes Streeting MP 
• A meeting with the Fairlop Ward Councillors 
• A pop-up consultation event at the neighbouring Underground Station  
• An in-person exhibition at Avanti Court Primary School 

Over 4,000 flyers were distributed to the local community and the social media ad reach was over 8,500, driving over 4,000 visitors to the consultation website - https://barkingsideyard.co.uk/
