The role

Concilio is a communications agency that specialises in public affairs for the property sector.

Over the past year we have grown our in house design capabilities. We now regularly win work not just because of our core public affairs function but because of the quality of our design work, both print and digital.

We have now formed Concilio Create. Whilst this predominantly provides support to our public affairs work, we have an ambition for this to be a stand alone team in Concilio, providing cutting edge design work direct to clients in support of their objectives. This work will involve the creation of content that catches the eye and pushes boundaries.

You will be a source of inspiration, bringing new ideas and concepts, constantly pushing us to provide the most creative solutions for clients.

Working alongside our existing in-house designer and front-end developer you will report to the Managing Director and help to deliver the most eye-catching, creative designs within our industry. You will also be helping to grow Concilio Create, offering you exciting career growth opportunities within an agency that is ambitious and expanding.

Our growing team works on a number of major projects across London and the Eastern Region, offering our clients political insight and innovative engagement strategies to bring people together and make better places.

Our clients include Local Authorities, Housing Associations, House Builders and a number of commercial focussed businesses.

About you

You are an extra special creative, a talented Designer who has a passion to deliver outstanding, creative content. You will have a great portfolio that demonstrates your ability in print, digital (websites and social ads) and illustration.

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing design projects from beginning to the end: initial idea stage to final arts production

Ensuring an efficient workflow, managing the design process with the Concilio team and external agencies when required

Be assertive with the Concilio team and clients, explaining your design decisions

Actively seek out and pitch for new business, consider new opportunities and lead in the production of fee proposals and pitch presentations

As part of the senior team, spot opportunities for the company to grow and suggest improvements to the day-to-day running of a fast growing company

Facilitate engagement meetings and participate in events while developing targeted engagement strategies to support the key objectives of the projects

Essential Skills

Excellent work ethic and positive attitude

An outstanding design portfolio showcasing an all-round capability

Creative thinking ability to try out new ideas

Experience of leading a design team on projects

Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud

UI+UX experience (desirable)

Confidence to speak directly to clients, explaining your design rationale to them

Good knowledge of social design trends on Instagram, Facebook, Snap, TikTok and YouTube

Ability to work with brand guidelines but also create material without them

Ability to work on multiple projects, quickly picking up a brief

3-5 years experience within a design role

Work as part of a team, responding well to the fast paced environment in which we operate
