One Long Lane in the City of London granted planning permission
One long lane in the City of London granted planning permission

At a meeting of the City of London Planning and Transportation Committee on October 27 planning permission was granted to a partnership of GMS Estates and the Western Heritable Trust for the redevelopment of 1-12 Long Lane.

Concilio worked on the project for over two years, leading on extensive community and political consultation throughout the process. This entailed traditional consultation events, meetings with Residents Associations and members of the City as well as digital meetings following the onset of Coronavirus restrictions.

The redevelopment will see the three different buildings that comprise 1 – 12 Long Lane demolished and replaced with a 8,800 m2 office designed by Emrys architects that responds to the benefits that the Elizabeth Line will bring and ties into the Cultural Mile initiative.
