At Enfield’s Planning Committee on 5th September 2023 Social Capital Partners was granted permission for a 110-bed, 100% social rent scheme on Fore Street, Upper Edmonton, Enfield.

Working alongside architects HTA Design and planning consultants DP9, Concilio undertook full public consultation for the proposals, undertaking extensive community engagement via a digital focus and in-person events. All consultation material was translated into Turkish and Somali.

The scheme at Fore Street will deliver:

• 110 new homes 
• 100% social rent housing 
• 12 terraced homes alongside a 17-storey building 
• Re-provision of commercial space.
  

The planning committee unanimously endorsed the proposals.

Concilio is the most active agency working in Enfield, with projects including the Arnos Grove and Cockfosters Car Park developments for TfL, Meridian Water with Countryside, Heritage House for British Land and the Edmonton Green Shopping Centre redevelopment for Crosstree.
