In July and August Concilio held a second round of consultation to promote the plans from Peabody for 3,502 homes at the former Stamping Plant site, Dagenham.

Alongside an updated website - peabodyatdagenham.com - we wanted to ensure that as many people as possible were able to see the plans before their submission to Barking and Dagenham Council.

Conscious of nervousness around Covid, we decided to hold two, open-air consultation events at busy street locations in Dagenham, along with free ice cream to entice people to attend. We also kept our fingers crossed that the weather would be kind to us!

Across the two days we spoke to over 250 people, a great number, and ensured that as many people as possible knew about the application prior to submission.
