Concilio was delighted to be part of the project team that helped to secure planning permisison for the British Museum at Camden’s Planning Committee on 21st March. 

The Museum gained permisison for its Energy Centre Promgramme which represents a once-in-a generation opportunity to deliver significant environmental improvements and secure the sustainable future of the British Museum. 

A new energy centre will be built in the south-west of the site, replacing the existing Estate-wide gas-powered primary heating and electrical infrastructure. A new and improved connection will also be created with the Naitonal Grid in the south-west, distributing electircal power across the Estate.
