Medici Lifecare is bringing forward proposals for a high-quality elderly care facility at Dean Bradley House off Horseferry Road. There is a significant need for care in Westminster, with 12.5% of Westminster’s population aged 65 and over and the borough having the least number of beds registered for high acuity care in London.

Medici Lifecare is seeking to demolish the existing building, whilst making some modest but important changes to the scheme consented in 2017. This application is being brought forward with two options, with the preferred option being a dementia care home that will provide around 126 care studios and over 200 jobs once fully operational.

Concilio has launched a three-week consultation programme to share Medici’s ambitions at this location and to gather feedback. We are holding an exhibition at a local venue and an online webinar to allow everyone to be involved. Concilio has also facilitated meetings with key local and political stakeholders to ensure that all interested parties were able to engage with the proposals and have their say.
