Concilio is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for Planning Campaign of the Year at the prestigious PRCA Public Affairs Awards 2025! This nomination recognises our dedicated work on the community consultation for 27 Savile Row, an iconic project that will redevelop a purpose-built police station which has been closed for public use since 2017.
The redevelopment of 27 Savile Row aims to transform the former West End Police Station into a sustainable, mixed-use building that revitalizes the northern end of this iconic street. The proposal includes creating a Grade A office space, introducing a vibrant ground-floor restaurant with outdoor seating to engage pedestrians, and offering affordable workspace dedicated to training and apprenticeships in bespoke tailoring.
Our approach to public consultation was thorough, inclusive, and innovative. Key engagement activities included:
- Over 100 letters of support from local stakeholders and the community.
- Public consultation events, including an exhibition and an interactive webinar.
- A dedicated social media campaign alongside leaflet distribution across the local area.
- Active engagement with Savile Row tailors, ensuring that their voices were heard in shaping the future of this historic street.
- Exclusive tours of the old police station, welcoming visitors, local employees, and residents.
- A pop-up consultation session on Savile Row, bringing the discussion directly to the heart of the community.
- A video collaboration with the London Academy of Bespoke, featuring local tailors, stakeholders, and insights into the proposal.
