Concilio has launched a public consultation for proposals to deliver a residential development at Farm Road, Sheffield.
Acting on behalf of Bluecastle Capital, Concilio has been tasked with managing community and political engagement for the new proposals at the former British Rail Sports Ground, situated south of Sheffield City Centre.
Initially, planning permission was granted in 2022 for a development comprising 336 units.
Bluecastle Capital now intends to submit a revised full planning application for an enhanced scheme that emphasises community-oriented amenities and makes use of the site’s sustainable location and prominence as a gateway to the City Centre.
This updated development will range between 12 and 29 storeys and will offer 413 build-to-rent apartments, along with 413 secure cycle storage spaces.
