It is fantastic to see citizenM’s 4th London hotel open opposite Victoria Station, Westminster.
In 2019/2020 Concilio provided all the community engagement for the project, working closely with planning consultants DP9 and architects ICA.
The hotel has 226 rooms alongside a bar, living-room, great art work and a lot of books to browse and read when staying over!
To herald the opening, citizenM also introduced their first artist-exhibit to grace the windows of a new hotel. It is part of their global campaign ‘citizens of sleep’ and features photos taken by Amber Cashmere. Amber captured a series of the diverse citizen portraits, all shot from the perspective of the pillow, highlighting the physicality of sleep in a showcase of creatively contoured faces.
The 98-window exhibition can be seen throughout July, and in the accompanying image to this story.
