Phase 1 of Dagenham Green approved
935 homes granted permission for Peabody in Dagenham

Peabody was granted planning permission by Barking & Dagenham Council for 935 homes as Phase 1 of the Dagenham Green Masterplan. 

Alongside the new homes consent was granted for up to 1,685 sqm of commercial floorspace, new public spaces and a heritage trail. 

Concilio provided full community and stakeholder engagement for the Phase 1 applications as well as the Masterplan for the site, which was consented in March 2022. The scheme website is available here:

The Masterplan will see the former Stamping Plant site in Dagenham transformed into a new community of 3,502 homes, with 50% being affordable. Alongside the new homes will be a 5-acre public park, Secondary School and a market square welcoming people to Dagenham Green from the Station.
