Planning granted for Dominus in City of London
Hotel scheme consented for 5-10 Great Tower Street

The Concilio City of London team worked alongside DP9 to help secure planning consent last week for Dominus at 5-10 Great Tower Street, City of London.

The scheme, designed by Studio Moren, will see the conversion of the existing office building to a 237-room hotel, with the retention of 100 per cent of the existing building's substructure and 70% of its substructure and facade.

Speaking about the plans, Shravan Joshi MBE, Chair of the City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee, said: "The City is an iconic location and attracts visitors and tourists from all around the world. We are therefore keen to support developments that will provide high-quality hotel accommodation, especially when those schemes reuse existing buildings, such as the proposals for Great Tower Street."

The Concilio team, led by Luke Tatton, has worked on a number of projects in the City and is advising on six live schemes at present - please do get in touch if you think we can assist you in the Square Mile.
