In August Concilio undertook a number of consultation events for the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP), the JV between Cambridge City Council and Hill.

• East Barnwell

CIP are explaining to the East Barnwell community plans for the regeneration of East Barnwell.

Amongst the proposals are a new community centre, pre-school facility, library, commercial space and up to 160 homes. At least 40% of the homes will be affordable for council rent.

Concilio organised two in-person events and a webinar, with close to 200 members of the local community getting involved and providing their feedback

• Hanover Court & Princess Court

Concilio initially undertook community engagement at Hanover Court & Princess Court in November 2021, asking residents of the estate their initial thoughts on the potential for regeneration.

Cambridge Council’s Housing Committee approved the principle of taking forward another round of consultation on future plans with residents, and Concilio helped to facilitate this with two in-person events and a webinar.

The proposals include up to 165 new homes, new green space and a community room. Up to 82 of the homes will be affordable.
