Held in the heart of the estate in South Norwood, the event brought the community together for a day of celebration and meaningful engagement. As well as receiving updates and sharing feedback on the regeneration proposals, families enjoyed activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, and an ice cream cart, all set against the backdrop of a neighbourhood on the cusp of transformation.
The Regina Road regeneration will replace 191 existing homes, including three 11-storey tower blocks built in the 1960s, with high-quality, modern housing. The plans also include a new green space, a pre-school, and a dedicated community hub.
Following a unanimous vote by residents in favour of demolition and rebuild, Concilio has supported Croydon Council in a robust engagement process, helping ensure the community remains central to the estate’s future.
We thank all residents who joined us for this important milestone and look forward to continuing our work together.
